We started out on Saturday going to opening day ceremonies for baseball then team pictures and the first scrimmage game which they won. Then back home where he played outside for a little while. In the evening we went to the circus. He really wanted one of the light up swords but of course Mom didn't get him one since the last one he got at Rose festival last year was not taken care of. His favorite part of the circus was the 5 motorcycles in the round cage. On the way home I had to listen to the motorcycle revving sounds for a little while.

ReplyDeleteNice job! You have some good pics in there and I can tell that you made a lot of effort. The baseball series works well. As for the circus, without seeing any pics of Timmy, his expressions, him walking in, etc, it's hard to know that he's in that part of the story, and it becomes just about the circus. So, unless you've got pics of him there, we will likely leave that part out.
Oh, don't crop your pics (assuming that's what you did for the square one). Just leave them as they are.

Those last two shots of your son doing chalk drawings are really nice. They capture a deep moment. It would be interesting to explore more moments like that for this project. Letting him be and then easing into your shooting after he has got into his own vibe.
